Choose Computer vs. Player if you're trying out this game on your own. The computer will make the first move as Eggman. You'll be able to follow up by placing your Tails marker on any open space. Two popular strategies are choosing the center or an open corner. You'll likely have to try different strategies as you quickly discover the computer is a savvy opponent.
What's nice about Sonic Tic Tac Toe 3 is it allows you to play one game after another. Simply click the middle of the screen at the end of a game to clear the board and start the next one. The bottom of the screen keeps a running tally of all your games. You can click the slogan at the top to return to the home screen if you decide you're ready to play against a friend or family member who's with you.
